The north beaches of Karpathos
The north beaches are the most secluded beaches in Karpathos, with idyllic landscapes and totally unorganized.
You can reach most of these interesting beaches only by jeep or by boat, because the dirt roads are usually in poor conditions. These beaches are far from the civilization, prefered by nudists, since they are absolutely secluded. There are some pine trees and huge vertical cliffs around, under which you can find shade and camp. As expected, the region has no paved roads and no infrastructures. In these beaches you can find deep blue water and fine grey coloured pebbles.
Agios Minas beach
The picturesque beach is famous from its chapel. To get there you must leave behind the main road (road signs showing the way), and move to the dirt road a few kilometres after you leaved Spoa. Agios Minas is at the exit of a valley, with grey pebbles and clear blue waters. The sea is usually calm here, but the winds getting stronger sometimes. The cove is surrounded by pine trees and tamarisks, which offer natural shade. In the top of the north hill you can reach a chapel of Agios Minas, which has amazing views to the surrounding area.
