Ruins of Agia Fotini

Paleochristian basilica only a few walk distance from Pigadia.

The ruins of Agia Fotini are located in the suburb of Pigadia, on the eastern side of the highway, behind the Vrontis beach. The archeological site is separated by a fence, but it can be visited. The ruins are dated from the 5th and the 6th centuries AD. The historical site contains marble frames of the church and early Christian decorations and religious symbols.
