Lefkos western beach in Karpathos island

The westernmost beach of Lefkos village is a beautiful coloured secluded bay, only a few minutes walk away from the center of Lefkos.

This beach is located between the main beach of Lefkos and the north beach of the village, and can be reached from the main parking lot of the village. This is a tiny bay, which is bounded on two sides by small sandstone peninsulas. The middle bay of Lefkos has beautiful coarse sand with rocky seabed, and fantastic sea colors of course.

Its western orientation makes the beach a little bit vulnerable to the winds, but is there is windlessness, its a true gem of Lefkos. The turquoise and emerald waters with its interesting rocky seabed, and some giant rocks make the beach ideal for snorkeling. This is the least organized beach in Lefkos, but there are some parasols and sunbeds for rent, and the beach bars and taverns are not far away.

This beach is one of the most peaceful places in Lefkos, so it is ideal to relax and enjoy the Greek sun! On the edge of the beach there are some slippery and smooth rocks, which you should take care.

On the two sides of this beach there are limestone penisulas, which you can climb. From these spots the panoramic views to Lefkos village and to the mountains of Karpathos are amazing, and you can admire the highest peak of Karpathos, called Kali Limni also!
